These specialized pieces of spa equipment are made to clear a small layer of the epidermis from the skin, removing everything including dead skin cells, bacteria, dirt, and grease. Coming with a range of types, using micron sized crystals of sodium-chloride, aluminium-oxide, and even diamond, to exfoliate the skin, acting like a fine sandpaper to leave the skin underneath as clean and new.
